Rafting and Beach from Villa Bella Salabintana

What a great experiences.... at very beginning, seem a scary journey.... Rafting in rainy season Dec. 2010...After all, we shall do it again... (bahasa: Ketagihan)

This is just a recommendation trip from Villa Bella Salabintana:

- Arrival on Friday Night (or afternoon even better)

- 06.30: Go to Cikidang take about 1.5 hours relaxing driving (enjoy the scenery of rubber, palm oil and tea plantation).

- Enjoy the 2 hour trip (Better than 1 hour, for only slightly cost different)... from any of rafting operator there (Arus Liar, Caldera). Suggest to do pre-booking to ensure availability. Start about 09.00

- Finish the trip at about lunch time..

- Pelabuhan Ratu is only about 30 min drive, so about 13.30 already there.

- Take position at Citepus beach in front of Hotel Agusta (The beach here is popular, also with beach guards)

- rent a place in gazebo near warung and toilet for only Rp. 10000 per hour.

- Enjoy the wave, you can also rent surf board (small) for only Rp. 10000

- In friendly weather, you can enjoy 2 hour or more with no sun burn.

16.00 or later... go back to Villa Bella Salabintana... enjoy the mountain cool evening again...

Additional tip:

- On journey back you can buy some fish in fish market (pelelangan ikan pelabuhan ratu) very reasonable price. If lucky you can also get lobster... for evening barbeque at Villa Bella Salabintana. http://villabella-salabintana.blogspot.com/
